Gardena’s Smart System range was developed to make it easier than ever before to take care of your garden, even while you’re away from home. By installing the Gardena Smart App on your mobile device and connecting a Gardena Smart Gateway to your home network via WiFi or a LAN cable, you always have access to Smart System products such as irrigation systems and lawnmowers. With an intelligent irrigation system and robotic lawnmower, your garden can now be taken care of, from just about anywhere.

The Smart SILENO LIFE 1000 set includes a Smart Gateway and a Smart SILENO Life robotic lawnmower which is suitable for maintining lawns of up to 1000 square metres in area. The kit also includes boundary wire, pegs and a charging station so you can get set up straight away. Just connect the Smart Gateway to your home network and download the Gardena Smart App onto your Apple or Android device to get started. The app is free to download, with no subscription fees, and can be accessed via a smartphone, tablet or PC.

The Smart SILENO Life lawnmower features LONA intelligence for the next level of smart lawn care: AI based mapping technology with location tracking that learns, maps and adapts to individual gardens for efficient and effective mowing. When it needs to recharge its battery, the mower automatically finds its way back to the charging dock, where it will return to in between mowing sessions. The Smart App helps you plan optimum mowing times with a scheduling assistant, and receives data on weather conditions which enables it to postpone upcoming routines – for example, if heavy rain is predicted.
